Compassion Comes From The Heart

Compassion comes from the heart.
It opens doors, it heals,
it holds someone in gentle hands
when they are vulnerable.

Compassion comes from the heart.
It brings people together in
impossible, tense situations.
It dissolves the biggest walls.

Compassion comes from the heart.
It can defy logic and reason
because it works on a higher level
and egos have to be quiet.

Compassion comes from the heart.
You may think there is none inside
but even the smallest glimmer
can be found shining so bright.

Compassion comes from the heart.
Time may heal the pain
but kindness transforms it
into a lesson full of positive growth.

Compassion comes from the heart.
Set the example for others
by practicing active compassion
and embracing freedom and happiness.
