You can ask yourself,
"Why did I do this?"
"Why did I choose that?"
Jump on that merry go round
and spin until your get dizzy
because that's all your doing -
going round and round.
It's a ride that will keep going
until you chose stop and get off.
Sure, it's easy to examine why
you do things after it's over.
But don't forget, at the end of it all,
it's still in the past.
All you have left
are the fragments of memories,
the lessons of the mind,
maybe of the heart,
and who you are.
Because even though
you may have changed,
how the ride affects you
from now on, is up to you.
Sure, jump on the ride,
scream to your heart's content
but get off at some point
because you have another
experience waiting for you
on the ride known as your life.
