how to make things happen
how to do it right

People will tell you
how to handle situations
how to be "you"
how to deal with frustration

People will tell you
"It's easy to get over"
"It shouldn't hurt as much"
"It's not a big deal"

People will tell you
things you want to hear
hurt they think is healing
ways you should see clear

What people won't tell you
is what you really need to know
The only person that can tell you
is the one that runs the show - YOU
