Do I get the chance to do it again?

Posted by Mary D'Alba on Sunday, August 8, 2010, In : Poetry

Do I get the chance to do it again?
To say I'm sorry to an old friend.
To find a way to make it right
or to let it drift off into the night.

Do I get a chance to do it again?
To finally have what I want
To create the life that is truly mine

I Make The Choice

Posted by Mary D'Alba on Thursday, August 5, 2010,

for the benefit of someone you love

You make choices
the best that you can
with good intentions
and a open heart

You make choices
your life is yours to lead
make positive impacts wherever you go
and leav...

Watch what I can do.
I can tear apart with the rest of the best.
Create the picture without all the colors.
Tell the story like I was there.

Watch what I can do.
I can create a ruckus with just a few sounds.
Cause a commotion with the “facts”
Tell the truth – or at least what I thought it was.

Watch what I can do.
I can gain friends I didn’t know that I had.
Create a team of dishonest soldiers
And win the battle, even though there was no war.

Watch what I can do.
I can look at...
