I had a dream once.

Not quite sure where it went -

one minute it was here

and the next it was gone.

I go about my life.

Every once in a while,

I think about that dream

that I once had.

I wonder if I had done this

or maybe if I had done that,

it could have been different.

Why do I still think about it?

Could it be that I

don't want to let it go?

Or, could it be that my soul,

my heart is gently reminding me

"Remember when you had

this dream?  This idea?"

My soul reminds me

The energy sparks.

It lights a flame,

a small one,

but one that wants to burn.

The energy grows.

The light becomes stronger,

it flickers and fights

to burn and throw light.

The energy survives.

The wind howls

and dims the light

but it never blows it out.

The energy recovers.

It resists all those things

that tries to make it

less than it is.

The energy just is.

It is what it is meant to be.

Nothing can stop

the beautiful light and glow

of the powerful energy.

Where do I start?

I'm trying to find my way.

All kinds of materials,

tools and thoughts,

scattered all over the place.

It's overwhelming.

How do I get to my final goal?

How do I find my way?

It seems so big, so daunting.

I guess I just have to start.

I'll begin here -

my foundation,

a place that holds it all.

Why don't I put this over here?

I'll move that over there.

Sometimes it is successful,

sometimes it comes crashing on me.

But I always come back to the place

where it all star...

A smile, a hug, a good laugh,

it doesn't have to be expensive,

it can just be what someone needs

feeling better can be free.

No money, no riches,

no large houses, no fame or fortune

can bring you happiness 

if you don't have it inside.

don't let the opportunity

pass you by to make an impact.

in your heart and soul
