Join us for Mabon – A Fall Equinox Celebration on Saturday September 22nd at 7 pm.

Mabon (also known as the Autumn Equinox) is a celebration of the Second Harvest. It was thought of as a time to gather and store crops for the winter months. Thanks were given to the Gods and Goddesses and it is an important time to focus on balance since the day and night hours are equal. This ritual will focus on balance and strength for the coming Winter months.

~Please bring an item to charge on the altar.~

As a way of giving back, we are asking for a non-perishable food donation for the Community Cupboard Food Pantry, which is serviced by the Unitarian Universalist Church of Medford, our hosts. (Please see http://www.uumedford.org/pantry.html for more information.)

Everyone is welcome - Pagan or non-Pagan and no experience is required to attend. All we ask is that you have an open mind.

Your contribution is $10-$20 per person fee (sliding scale) - requested but not required - nobody will be turned away. All money collected will be used only to help cover the costs of this and future events. (Supplies, munchies, etc).
