I was thinking about the concept of creation and how creative we really are, whether or not we think so.  I was watching one of those competition reality shows (Project Runway) where there was a grand prize at the end, after many creations and challenges.  The designers have to be judged weekly on brand new creations and ride the highs and lows as they work through the good and bad times.

As I was thinking about it, I was wondering what life would be like if we created from scratch everyday, like these designers do.   They stare at a clean slate constantly.

Let's take the concept of us having a clean slate each morning.  Well, if we have that, does that mean that everything we do has to be re-created?

On other words, if our slate is clean, we not only have to create our day but everything in it.  We have to generate happiness, accomplishment, strength - all those things that we take for granted will just show up.

Sure, we have a foundation, those skills that will bring us to a place of making those creations.  But do we always tap into them?  Or do we let things happen and react?

Maybe it's time we pull on those skills proactively and create our own canvas, our own design, for what's going to happen with us.  As we do that, we may find as we are already drawing on our own ideas and qualities, others may not have the influence on our day as they usually have because we've already set a framework of how our day is going to go.

Is it always going to be perfect and beautiful?  Not always.  But maybe we can increase those productive and positive days more now that we're aware of what we want for our day.  It gives us a bit of control and co-creating with Spirit and our subconscious and conscious mind.

So why not take a few minutes, every day, whether it be in the shower or while having your morning drink, to set up in your mind what kind of day you're going to have.  Start your sketch.  You'll find it much easier to carry it out if you have a plan.

Then at night, take a few minutes to review your day.  Did it go the way you want?  What went well?  What would you like to improve on?  Think about your day and what you'll build on tomorrow.

Being conscious of that canvas, that design, will bring you to a new awareness of how much you're in control of your day and your life.  Be proactive and be creative.  You may see a big shift in your day designs.
