How many times have you tried to accomplish something and it just wasn't working? You've tried several times to get it done and it isn't coming together.
Would it be better to quit, to let it go?
Many things don't happen on the first try. For example, Alicia Keys laughed when she was referred to as an overnight sensation because she had been in the music business struggling for over seven years.
Doors will shut. Life will deal you with hard blows. There is no doubt about it. This is why "If you first you don't succeed, try again." It is very rare to get exactly what you want the first time.
It can be discouraging to keep trying over and over again. Is it possible that you can look back each time you try and learn something? Is there a piece of knowledge that will help you move forward? Can you open your eyes objectively and look at what your experience was and how to change or improve it?
If you sit in the place of "I just can't do it", then you won't be able to, not matter what talents you have. Your mind is programming you to fail.
However, if you sit in the place of "I can do it. I will do it" then you will. Just know with each step that you take, you'll make progress. It's like pushing against a boulder - eventually, you'll shift it.
It's easy to get upset when things aren't working, moving, progressing. But take a look at the journey and not the destination. Because what you do on that journey will shape how you'll be at the destination. You don't want to be so exhausted when you get there that you can't enjoy it.
